Branch is 100 Years Old

Today (5th April 2021) we officially celebrate 100 Years of existence as Forfar Branch. Forfar Branch can trace back to it’s first meeting on the night of Tuesday 5th April 1921 at Forfar Town Hall (See attached newspaper clipping). Forfar Branch is one of the oldest branches within Legion Scotland (We do claim to be the oldest).

Forfar Branch like many others help ex-servicemen, women and their families of all ages across Scotland to adapt to civilian life by providing community, friendship and practical advice, whether they left the military service yesterday or 50 plus years ago. We also co-exist more with the local community and local organisations.

We would like to thank all our members and the local community for your support over the years and for many more years to come.
